Debris field, a wall mounted sculpture of wood, brush, paper and epoxy is part of my Pallets and Stacked Chairs series. My work explores people, places and situations on the margins of life and in this series my inspiration was taken from disasters and floods and their aftermath. Literal floods of water that devastated LA in 2023 and basements here in Ohio in 2024, to recent metaphorical floods that leaves heaps and debris fields in it's wake.
