Skybound Over Steel

This intaglio collagraph was created using a repurposed COVID-19 test box by carving away layers of cardboard to form the printing plate. It is handmade with an etching press and incorporates chine collé using specialty Kozo paper. The image of a raised railroad bridge and a sky filled with birds reflects the evolving relationship between urban structures and wildlife, capturing how nature moves through and around industrial landscapes.
